Ras Al Khaimah, UAE- The new campus of Birla Institute of Technology (Ranchi) UAE campus at Royal College of Applied Science and Technology facilitated by Sudhir Gopi Holding has been opened by His Highness Sheikh Faisal bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Chairman of RAK Free Trade Zone (RAKFTZ). “Birla Institute of Technology has gone from strength to strength”, H.H Sheikh Faizal Said in his speech. “This growth reflects a demand from the community and surrounding emirates for quality education, and we at Rak Free Trade Zone are proud to partner with such an institution.”
The first convocation ceremony of Birla Institute of Technology (Ranchi) UAE campus also was conducted at the College Auditorium on 10th June 2009. His Highness Sheikh Tariq Al Qassimi was the chief gust for the function. 70 graduates from various discipline including MBA, Executive MBA, BBM, B. Com, BBA were graduated and Dr. Praveen Dhyani, Rector, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi and Director, BIT International Centers has awarded the degrees to the graduates.
Along with new college campus inauguration RCAST has celebrated its fourth annual day, which was inaugurated by Mr. Oussama El Omari, CEO, RAKFTZ. He said “BIT had progressed greatly since its modest beginnings in 2005”.
Mr. Sudhir Gopi, Chairman & Managing Director, Sudhir Gopi Holdings, Mrs. Rashmi Sudhir, Director, SGH, Dr. Praveen Dhyani, Rector, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi and Director, BIT International Centers, Brig. Nadir Mohammed Abdullah Fikri, Mr. Praveen Kumar, Director and Mr. Prakash Babu, Chief Manager, SGH were present in the function.
